We succumbed to a Texas tradition this past month. We took "Easter pictures" of Amelia in the blue bonnets...oh no...do not be deceived, this is no ordinary weed that grows tall so that it can hide ant hills, slithering snakes and who knows what else...no this is the most famed spring flower in all of Texas, and you must place your child in the middle of one of these patches, by themselves, and snap cute little photos while you pray that nothing eats them alive in the few minutes you are 6 feet away from them! so...enjoy....
